Public Speaking
We teach middle, high school, and college-age students about how to navigate challenges and live a stable, happy, and emotionally regulated life. We cover topics including toxic and abusive relationships, codependency, substance use disorder, and the power of recovery.
Recovery applies to every person, not just those who have suffered from addiction. Recovery is about understanding patterns of behavior and learning the awareness to change and be in control of our lives. We speak from personal experience. We also bring residents of Ben's House to tell their story of addiction and recovery. The authentic and personal nature of our presentations, coupled with science about how trauma and substances affect the body, mind, and spirit, leaves a lasting impression on our audiences.
